Who writes The Game Larder, and how
The Game Larder is a new project that writes about wild game as a food: the species, the cuts, the preparation methods, and the over-ready product you can put in an oven and eat.
This site lives at a web address that a different brand used before. We are not that brand. We are not affiliated with it, endorsed by it, or a continuation of it. We do not carry its name, its mark, or its history. What we inherited is the topic and the market: a reader who wants to cook wild game and needs a clear, practical reference.
What we do
We publish cooking methods, cut guides, and sourcing notes for wild game. We write in plain English, give temperatures and timings, and link to the stockists who actually sell the product. Every page is written for the cook in front of a counter, not for the trade.
Corrections
If a timing is wrong, a cut is misnamed, or a link has gone stale, tell us and we will fix it on the next build. We keep a short note on each page showing when it was last checked.
